The worship of the triune God is the centerpiece of our life together. We value highly expository preaching from the Bible, a robust, historic liturgy, and the grace of Christ given us through baptism and weekly communion. This time of worship forms the steady heartbeat of our life together, as the Lord brings his kingdom to its fullness through us.
We find that making disciples requires a complex combination of spiritual relationships, spiritual learning, and spiritual discipline. To accomplish this multi-faceted task, we have a number of disciple-making ministries:
- Home Groups
- Discipleship Groups
- Women’s Bible Study
- Trinity Classical School
- Reformed University Fellowship
- CCB Youth Group
The Apostle Paul said to the church in Galatia, “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Gal. 6:10). Our church has sensed a particular calling to show Jesus’ love to the children in our community. We seek to bless our neighbors in a number of ways:
- Partnership with Birchwood Elementary School
- Foster Care & Adoption
- Lummi Mission
We desire to help in the planting of gospel-centered churches throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are members of the Northwest Church Planting Network and support church planting through financial contributions, church planting internships, coaching, and prayer. We have two assistant pastors/church planting residents who are working towards planting new churches as well. For more info visit https://www.churchplantwashington.org/ and https://churchplantwhatcom.org/ We also support church planting movements in Japan and Russia through our missions committee.
