Mission Statement

The men’s event committee exists to serve the men of the church through event planning, gathering them for meaningful fellowship to strengthen friendship and equip them for godliness.

Annual Retreats

The highlights of our year are annual retreats: one in the spring up to Mt. Baker and the other at the end of the summer out to Sucia Island for fellowship before and after a day of solitude. Both are great opportunities to form and strengthen friendship and be spiritually refreshed. 

Events this Summer

Men! Let’s gather this summer for fellowship, teaching, and good food.

Sep 6–8, Men’s Sucia Solitude Retreat

We will boat and camp on a local island and enjoy the beauty of God's creation; have time in reflection and solitude to fast, pray, and wait on the Lord; and time together with brothers in Christ to adventure and break the fast by a feast and fireside chat. The trip is weather dependent, includes minimal gear for camping, and may be a bumpy, adventurous ride. We will leave Friday mid-afternoon and return Sunday morning in time for church (Lord-willing).

Trip cost: $75
