Palm Sunday
9AM & 11AM
Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It’s called Palm Sunday because the crowds laid palm branches down to welcome him, their long-awaited Messiah.
For our liturgy this morning, we emphasize themes and language from the triumphal entry narrative and from relevant portions of the Old Testament.

Maundy Thursday
6PM
This evening’s service is a semi-traditional Maundy Thursday Service.
Maundy comes from ‘mandatum’ the latin word for commandment and originates in Jesus’ words to his disciples in John 13, where after the Passover he says:
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you.

Good Friday
6PM & 7:30PM
Our Good Friday service will be a Tenebrae (Latin for ‘darkness’) service.
Our worship will center around Scripture readings from the hours leading up to and including the crucifixion along with singing and prayer.
It is a quiet and contemplative service, and ends in silence.

Easter Sunday
9AM & 11AM
The most important day of the Christian calendar, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead—the event on which our faith is grounded.
We will have childcare and Sunday School for both services, and an egg hunt for kids between services on the Birchwood Elementary School playground and field.
Overflow parking is available at Birchwood Elementary.
